The practice of English afternoon tea began in the 1800s, and La Tea Da is passionate about curating a traditional tea experience with a modern twist. The themed tea rooms and three tiered menu are changed seasonally to always bring you a new environment and flavor profile. The team at La Tea Da is passionate about not only serving delicious food, but making sure everyone leaves with an experience complete with history and etiquette notes of tea service. Whether a bridal shower, birthday, baby shower, or engagement celebration La Tea Da is passionate about hosting events.

A Mom and Daughter Adventure
Mom and daughter duo, Pam Kyes and Emily Nuss, following their dreams everyday to bring you an experience to last a lifetime. After the pandemic they decided that life was too short to walk away from passion and purpose in life, that is how their tea house journey began.
Together they bring creativity and hospitality to La Tea Da. The attention to detail from the decor of each themed tea room, to service, and the culinary experience is what transports you to another time and place. Whether you are celebrating a milestone birthday, bridal shower, baby shower, an afternoon lunch,or simply shopping the boutique the staff wants to make sure that La Tea Da is a place to gather, create memories, and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
A Little Bit About Us
Pam grew up in Rathdrum, Idaho and attended North Idaho College and the University of Idaho before she began her career in retail management which later led her into the field of interior design. She has been married to Rodney Kyes for 29 years, and has been apart of the North Idaho community always lending a helping hand from school fundraisers to donations.
Emily was born and raised in Post falls and attended the University of Idaho with her now husband Kobin Nuss. She has been apart of fine-dining for nearly a decade and hospitality has always been her passion.
Together they are surrounded by the most supportive family and so blessed by their patrons and the overwhelming support from surrounding communities while on this new adventure!
